Can you explain just what makes this novel boring for you, $Tef@n? I'd also be interested to know what makes a novel work for you. I really like the way Maurice Gee describes his characters and how he takes us inside the characters' minds. look at P74 and The fat man's planned arrival by train and Colin's reaction.
